The SYNOT Group already exists a quarter of century on world´s markets. The first corporation was founded in 1991 and began its business with only three employees at that time. These days, SYNOT employs thousands of employees and due to this plays a role of very significant employer.

„It was not very easy at the beginning. We took a credit of several thousands Czech Crowns and we were worried about not being able to pay this off. We were such a small family company with big ambitions. Our aim was to be the best,“ remembers Ivo Valenta, the Chairman of the board of directors WCV WORLD CAPITAL VENTURES CYPRUS LIMITED.

Nowadays, the SYNOT Group is an international, respected structure of companies of which the top business management is based in Cyprus. Synot operates in twenty countries, where also pays the appropriate taxes and its annual turnover is 600 million EUR. Except for the main areas of business – lottery industry it also focuses on IT technologies, supporting start-up projects, young start-ups, media ownerships and ultimately sales of luxury BMW cars. In each country where SYNOT operates also focuses on promotion of sports and on voluntary sector.

„From the very beginning we followed the motto „to help is natural“ – therefore shortly after starting the business we began to invest considerable funds to help the non-profit sector, especially sport, culture, health service and education. Mainly through the Foundation SYNOT we divided tens of millions EUR and thus supported thousands of community projects,“ says, Ivo Valenta.

„The key investments for us are also in the filed of tourism and free time activities. I personally consider as very important that people do not look for beauty only abroad but also where they feel at home. Therefore we would like to have as colourful offer as possible, “ adds Mr Valenta.

For instance SYNOT Group established modern Ski Arena, Bike Park, project of water world is being prepared and more is to come. At the same time very sensitively reconstructed few historical objects and hotels which SYNOT Group owns in Czech republic and Slovakia. Lots of this objects even received awards – for instance secession slovakian hotel Elizabeth was awarded as best european historical hotel. There is more of these exceptional investments to come in a foreseeable future.

„The anniversary of 25 years is considered as a huge milestone according to Mr Valenta. We entered the world´s competition with products which we continuously improve and inovate. Apparently thanks to this we gained bigger number of business partners from all over the world with witch I am personally satisfied. Although I am fully aware of the fact that we would not received as much success and awards in many countries without the ambition and high work ethic of emploees from individual divisons, “ concludes Mr Valenta and adds that ambitions of Synot Group do not end here and expansion to another countries and world´s destinations for instance South America is already in the plan.

On the occasion of 25th anniversary Synot Group organized an Open Day in Slovakia with colourful cultural program. Hundreds of bussines partners from Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa took part.
