SYNOT Group helped with the flood situation

Over the weekend, SYNOT Group quickly responded to the flood situation that affected several regions. Our company, based in Uherske Hradiste, is located in close proximity to the Morava River, so we were on alert from the first reports of rising water levels.

In close coordination with flood control committees, we worked throughout the weekend to monitor and assess the situation. We implemented several measures to minimize potential damage and ensure the safety of our employees and property. One of the first steps was to remove vehicles from the most threatened areas and conduct a thorough inspection of all facilities, including our Data Center, which is crucial to our operations.

A dedicated team was involved in the effort, working tirelessly over the weekend with little sleep...

However, we were also concerned about the situation in other regions. SYNOT Group owner Ivo Valenta was asked to help with the crisis in the Jeseník area, and he agreed without hesitation. He provided a helicopter free of charge to transport essential supplies to areas most affected by the floods, where other forms of transport were inaccessible.

The helicopter delivered hundreds of portions of vacuum-sealed meals, hundreds of liters of bottled water, boxes of biscuits, and other necessities to Jeseník, one of the hardest-hit locations. These supplies were mainly for firefighters, rescuers, and police officers, who worked tirelessly on-site to mitigate the impact of the devastating floods in Jeseník and the surrounding villages.

To everyone affected by the floods, we sincerely wish for a swift recovery from this difficult situation.
