SYNOT Group strengthens its position in Ukraine! It has obtained a license to operate gaming halls

The license necessary to operate the gaming halls was received in recent days by the Ukrainian-Czech joint venture ROYAL, Ltd. About thirty years ago, SYNOT was a co-founder of ROYAL and it is still its co-owner. At the same time, it is historically one of the most successful companies in its country and business. It is ROYAL that is now starting to gradually open its gaming halls in Lviv, which is the largest city in western Ukraine.

„According to local legislation, gaming halls in Ukraine may only be located in hotels. For now, clients will find our gaming equipment in the luxury hotels Sonata, Volter and NTON. We see great potential for our further expansion in this country and region. Lviv is an important cultural, educational, transport and economic center in the entire western part of the country,“ explains Roland Andrýsek, SYNOT Group's sales director, adding: „Each license is limited by law to 250 gaming facilities. So far, we have obtained the first license, and if the results meet our expectations, we will apply for additional licenses.“

Some time ago, the SYNOT Group opened a new showroom in Lviv, Ukraine. It is intended for its existing and potential business partners as a demonstration of the latest products.

SYNOT Group is no newcomer to operations in Ukraine. It started a business here about thirty years ago. In 2009, however, the gaming business was banned in the country. This has led to extreme black market growth and increased corruption. Therefore, less than a year ago, the government adopted a new law on gaming business in order to bring this area of business under control and receive revenue to the state treasury.
